Laser Communication System
This laser communication system transmits sound or music signals through a laser beam. The intensity of the laser beam changes with the amplitude of the sound signal. The variation in the intensity of the laser beam is converted into a variation in the voltage level by using a calculator’s solar panel. More >
Wireless switch
Normally, home appliances are controlled by means of switches, sensors, etc. However, physical contact with switches may be dangerous if there is any shorting.
Wireless Extender for IR Remote Controls
Using this system, you can control your IR-remote-controlled home appliances like DVD player and air-conditioner from another room without the hassle of running extra cables between the two rooms. The system wirelessly sends infrared signals from one room to another. More >
High Power FM Wireless Microphone
This FM Wireless Microphone has been a very popular project with beginners and experienced constructors alike. It has been used inside guitars and as the basis of a remote control system. I do however, receive many requests for a higher powered circuit and better microphone sensitivity. More >
Wireless headphones receiver circuit
The wireless headphones receiver presented is an standard application of ZN415 produced by Ferranti ( short wave receiver). ZN415 assures a quality reproduction, has a 1.5 battery alimentation and contains a MA detector and audio amplifier.
Wireless headphones transmitter circuit
This wireless headphones transmitter assures a quality reception over 2 meters. The oscillator frequency is between 1750KHz and 3500KHz and for antenna we use a ferrite bar. IC1 amplifies the audio signal and TC1 is a buffer. D1 signals that the transmitter is on and is a voltage stabilizer for the oscillator . More >
Infra Red Wireless Door Monitor
This door monitor project uses an infrared beam to monitor door & passageways or any other area. When the beam is broken a relay is tripped which can be used to sound a bell or alarm. Suitable for detecting customers entering a shop, cars coming up a driveway, etc. The IR beam is very strong. Distances over 25 feet can be monitored. A 12VDC supply is required to power the circuit. A 12V wall adaptor is fine. Provision has been made so that only one power supply needs to be used to power both units. The relay is rated to switch mains voltages. More >
IR remote control for Home appliance
Connect this circuit to any of your home appliances (lamp, fan, radio, etc) to make the appliance turn on/off from a TV, VCD or DVD remote control. The circuit can be activated from up to 10 meters.
Wireless light switch
You may use this wireless light switch instead of physical contact with switches which may be dangerous if there is any shorting.
The wireless light switch circuit described here requires no physical contact for operating the appliance. You just need to move your hand between the infrared LED (IR LED1) and the phototransistor (T1). The infrared rays transmitted by IR LED1 is detected by the phototransistor to activate the hidden lock, flush system, hand dryer or else.
